About Me

Welcome to my website and blog!

My name is Hannah Jones and I am a full time vet and amateur event rider based in Worcestershire.

I graduated from Glasgow University Vet School in summer 2010 and have since worked full time at Avenue Veterinary Centre in Malvern.

I have competed up to British Eventing Advanced and CCI** level and also up to Advanced Medium level British Dressage.  I had to retire Donovan (Nolton Barnacle) from higher level competition at Osberton 2014 due to injury, after becoming established at two-star that season.  We have 2 homebred mares now competing: Ali (Lils Unlimited Lass) our 8yo by Take It 2 The Limit is an exciting prospect for the future already posting some fabulous results at Intermediate level including a win at Wellington.  Flicka (Replica), who was not bred for eventing but has enjoyed some outings this season at a baby 5 years old.

I am based on my parents Orchard Farm Livery Yard, which makes life easier to manage fitting everything in!

Eventing is a unique sport as amateurs regularly compete against the professionals, even at the lower levels and this makes it even more challenging and exciting.
